HI, I’M MAGDA
I accompany others on their nervous system regulation and somatic healing journey.
My work is rooted in modalities focused on early developmental trauma and deep ecological frameworks, as well as my own lived experience of learning to embody those.

I’ve spent the past 10+ years looking for an answer to one question: how can I live a healthier, fuller and more peaceful life while supporting others and the rest of the natural world?
The moment I found deep autonomic nervous system regulation in 2021, I immediately knew it was the piece I had been looking for – and missing – in the worlds of self-development, natural remedies, psychotherapy, spirituality, social justice & environmental activism. Everything suddenly made sense: how are we to sustainably live in community if our own physiologies are at odds with the world & each other, stuck in survival responses that have become so normalised we call them personalities, lifestyles and cultures?
In my work with others, I combine Transforming Touch® protocols (Dr Stephen Terrell) with psychoeducation and basic neurosensory practices (a mix of the Feldenkrais method, Somatic Experiencing® and Somatic Practice developed by Irene Lyon). By combining the above, I offer multiple layers of support for life to finally feel easier and for things to finally start making sense. I hold individual healing spaces in the broader context of species and planetary health and interdependence. To me, somatic healing work is deeply spiritual and ecological in nature.
Before discovering somatic work, I spent years traveling the world, with spells of living abroad on different continents. I published three books, won some awards and spoke on multiple stages. While having all the crazy adventures and organising all the sparkly projects, I struggled with anxiety (which I didn’t even realise I had), disorganised attachment (my romantic relationships weren’t great), long periods of depletion & burnout, and a host of other challenges that I only started recognising as I was healing from them and no longer experiencing the symptoms. After all, when you’ve lived with something all your life, it becomes your norm and you don’t even know that something else is possible. Turns out, it so is.
Contrary to what social media influencers might tell you, true nervous system regulation and somatic healing is slow, gentle and profound work. There are no hacks, no simple exercises, no overnight success stories. There are, however, ways of supporting our original Biological Intelligence through presence and informed guidance that facilitate true liberation and lasting healing.
WHAT DO I MEAN BY THAT?
Experiencing more beauty, vitality and flexibility in our bodies & lives.
Effortlessly following our biological impulses, true needs and deep longings.
Healing personal wounds, as well as collective and intergenerational traumas.
Relating authentically from an embodied sense of safety, connection and belonging.
And last, but not least, restoring ourselves back to nature with tenderness: at the level of our own physiology, interpersonal relationships and the ecosystems we love so much.

WHAT WILL BE MOST SUPPORTIVE FOR YOU TODAY?
MY MENTORS AND INSPIRATIONS
Over the years, I’ve been lucky to come across amazing teachers, both directly in courses, events and trainings, and indirectly through writings, teachings and public appearances.
The people, places and movements I’ve been deeply nourished and inspired by so far are: the first Polish travel bloggers who showed me that the world was full of helpful, caring people; the numerous CouchSurfing hosts who turned out to be those helpful, caring people and who taught me that the world’s full of friends I simply haven’t met yet; the oceans, islands and inhabitants of SE Asia; Hawai’i and the Mauna Kea Protectors; the Standing Rock movement; Trutle Island’s & other regions’ Wisdom Keepers; Thích Nhất Hạnh; Joanna Macy; Charles Eisenstein; Vandana Shiva; Rupert Sheldrake; forests in north-east Poland; Iceland, Ireland and Scotland; my garden; my dreams; Gabor Maté; rocks & fire; Irene & Seth Lyon; dr Stephen Terrell; my therapists, my colleagues & my friends.
A BIT MORE ABOUT ME

I delight in scents of blooming flowers & trees (wild rose, acacia and linden are among my favourites). Watching pollinators do their thing. Sensing the earth under my bare feet. Feeling the gush of strong wind. Seeing a starlit piece of sky. Being with kids.
I dream of nourishing community life. Ecosystem regeneration. Decolonisation of the dominant educational, economic, social, political, scientific and spiritual frameworks. Living in a life-sustaining culture.
I love dancing, walking, soaking up the sun, belly laughs, slow mornings & early evenings, serious conversations, sharing time with friends, sitting by the fire & my mom’s tomato soup.
I’m still learning to deepen my trust in self, others & that which I cannot know or understand. Differentiate between soul-led & adrenaline-fuelled decisions. Be offline more. Embody my values in the modern Western world. Prepare traditional Polish meals.
I am a certified Transforming Touch® therapist, trained in Galway, Ireland (2023-2024), and I participate in group consultations with Dr. Stephen Terrell and Robin Sullivan. In June 2025, I completed Level 1 of mentoring with Irene Lyon as part of the Scientific Practitioner Track. In 2023, I completed her Scientific Educator Beta 2.0 course.
I am in group supervision with Shelby Leigh through her Body of Work mentorship programme and in my own somatic therapy process focused on working with pre & perinatal trauma. I also regularly receive Transforming Touch® sessions.
After a few years of focusing on the autonomic nervous system, I’ve spent the past months diving deeper into the themes of in utero & birth trauma, and I am currently studying it through Myrna Martin’s offerings.
You can learn more about my approach and the modalities I offer through interviews with my mentors here.
